Iasi International Airport (IATA code: IAS) serves the city of Iasi and the surrounding regions, offering multiple direct flights to Europe and beyond. The airport has a 2,400 m long flexible runway and three terminals (T2, T3, T4) with several facilities including restaurants, shops and car rental services.
The opening of the new terminal marks an important stage in the development of Iasi Airport, the main airport in the N-E region. From March 31, with its new modern infrastructure and inspirational identity, Iași Airport is preparing for an extensive transformation. Terminal T4 has an area of over 31 thousand square meters, three levels and a minimum processing capacity of 3.5 million passengers annually, making it the second largest terminal in the country. The new terminal is equipped with modern equipment, offers high-quality services and first-class facilities. It has 20 check-in desks, 12 self-check-in systems, 14 boarding gates, six security filters, three aerobridges, a VIP and a business lounge, spaces for commercial activities, relaxation spaces, children's play etc.
