This Badge Removal Policy outlines the circumstances under which an Iași Open badge may be revoked and confiscated by tournament officials. We are committed to maintaining a safe, professional, and respectful environment for all players, officials, sponsors, media, and guests attending the tournament.


Grounds for Badge Removal:

A badge may be removed and confiscated for any of the following reasons:

•⁠ ⁠Violation of Tournament Rules and Regulations: This includes, but is not limited to, disruptive behavior, physical altercations, verbal abuse, unauthorized access to restricted areas, on-court interference, or any action deemed detrimental to the smooth operation of the tournament.

•⁠ ⁠Falsification of Credentials: The use of a badge obtained through false information or misrepresentation will result in immediate badge removal.

•⁠ ⁠Threatening or Abusive Behavior: Any individual exhibiting threatening or abusive behavior towards players, officials, sponsors, media, or guests will have their badge revoked. This includes harassment, intimidation, or discriminatory language.

•⁠ ⁠Alcohol or Drug Intoxication: Being under the influence of alcohol or drugs to the point of disrupting the tournament or posing a safety hazard will result in badge removal.

•⁠ ⁠Commercial Activity or Solicitation: Engaging in unauthorized commercial activity or solicitation on tournament grounds is strictly prohibited and will result in badge removal.

•⁠ ⁠Failure to Follow Instructions: Disregarding instructions from authorized tournament personnel may result in badge removal, especially regarding emergency procedures or access restrictions.

•⁠ ⁠Betting on Site: Engaging in or soliciting any form of gambling or betting on Iași Open matches is strictly prohibited. Individuals found violating this rule will have their badges revoked and may be escorted from the premises.


Badge Removal Procedure:

•⁠ ⁠In the event of a potential violation, a tournament official will approach the badge holder and explain the alleged infraction.

•⁠ ⁠The official will request the badge and may issue a warning or explanation depending on the severity of the violation.

•⁠ ⁠In some cases, an opportunity may be given to rectify the situation.

•⁠ ⁠If the violation is deemed serious or repeated, the badge will be confiscated, and the individual may be escorted from the tournament premises.


Appeals:

Individuals who have their badges revoked may submit a written appeal to the Tournament Director within 24 hours of the incident. The appeal will be reviewed, and a decision will be communicated within 48 hours.

Important Note:

This Badge Removal Policy is intended to provide a general overview of potential violations. The Tournament Director reserves the right to remove a badge for any reason deemed necessary to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants.
